The data collected speaks to the current state of the air quality and identifies any potential problems that may be due to hidden issues. Only an Indoor Environmental Professional is certified to determine whether suspect growth is mold.
If there are suspected issues, it's in your best interest to test immediately. It can take weeks to receive cost estimates and schedule contractor work. Ideally, you should receive all quotes (for remediation, etc.) before the due diligence ends. If not all quotes are received, you may want to extend the due diligence period.
